When I was considering the Portland, OR job, I wondered if I'd be off the hook for Oregon's state income tax if I lived in Washington state. No such luck--seems like it's pretty standard for state income tax to be based on which state is paying the income. I haven't yet figured out if this is fair or not, but I do know it's confusing...
